Nine Ashes consists of a 5 acre main field surrounded by 25 acres of woodland.

For school groups there are three accommodation options:-

Indoor Accommodation

Ideal for early and late season bookings -

Available March, April, September, October.

You will have sole use of the main building for meals, common area and evening activities.

Accommodation consists of heated rooms attached to the main building and our Trefusis Bunkhouse.

We are able to provide indoor accommodation with bunks for 26 students with separate adjacent staff rooms. (rooms of 10, 12, 4, 2 & 2).

There are male and female toilets attached to the building, there is also access to the toilet and shower block in the main camping field which has been recently refurbished.

Tented ‘Village’

We provide pre-pitched tents with groundsheets/boards and mattresses in a ‘village’ suitable for 35 students with separate tents for staff.

You have sole use of the main building for meals and evenings.

Available May-July only.

The village consists of 5 tents for students and 2 for staff.

Depending on availability students tents will either be classic patrol ridge tents or modern bungalow style tents each sleeping 7-10 students

Standing Camp with Tented ‘Village’ Accommodation

We provide pre-pitched tents with groundsheets/boards and mattresses in a ‘village’ suitable for 35 students with separate tents for staff.

You have use of marquee type tents for meals and evenings equipped with benches and tables, a small kitchen area plus electric lighting.

Available May-July only.
