Nine Ashes' first permanent building.

Redecorated and converted into a small two roomed bunkhouse

with beds for 16 people.

The first room has 4 beds (2 single & 1 bunk) with mattresses.

This room also doubles up as a communal area with tables and chairs.

The original open fire has been replaced with a wood burner to provide a cosy environment that can be used all year around.

The second room has 6 modern bunks with mattresses.

This room can be divided by means of a curtain to allow for the

possible mixed groups.

Both rooms are carpeted and have small wall mounted heaters.

Outside there is a covered veranda area which can be used for additional seating and dining space as well as general activities.

Due to the nature of the roof in this area it is not allowed to cook under the veranda.

It is planned to install a small gas hob & sink to main room of Trefusis but this will not be available until 2012 season.

Trefusis bunkhouse does not have its own toilet and wash facilities

but the main toilet block in the camping field is always available
